Trenton's Baby Shower

This past Saturday, Oct. 23, my most beloved family and friends gathered to celebrate the impending arrival of beautiful baby Trenton. The shower was held at the Balboa Yacht Club in Corona Del Mar, where David's parents are members. The Yacht Club was my first choice for the baby shower because it's one of our favorite places, it's just relaxing and I feel comfortable there, it's kind of like home. Anyways, the shower was organized by my bestie of forever, Jamee Block, my godmother Jeanne St. Clair (Jamee's Mom) and my mom Debbie (soon-to-be Nana Debbie). Jamee did an AMAZING job and I could not have asked for a more beautiful shower. If was so nice because in planning the shower, every time i had a worry or a question, Jamee would tell me, "Don't worry about it, it's taken care of." And you know what, i always believed her, because if you know Jamee like i do, you know that she is one organizined women and she gets things done. The colors of the shower were royal blue, glass green and white, and the room looks fabulous, beyond my expectations. Jeanne and my mom were in charge of the "One game and one game only" game. They gathered and wrapped approximately 20 prizes for the famous game, in which everyone at the shower loved playing. Funny enough the waffle iron was the hot prize of the afternoon, which was stolen around the room at least 7 times. Lunch was catered by the yacht club and provided by my in-laws Leon & Tensel. There were 3 lunch options; Tuna Melt (my personal favorite), Turkey Avocado Wrap, or Chicken Casear Salad. Dessert was Sprinkles Cupcakes (MMMM!) and was provided by my mom Debbie. There were 3 cupcake options; Peanut Butter Chocolate, Red Velvet or Black & White (my favorite). The shower lasted about 2 1/2 hours and it's easy for me to say that within that short time frame i felt nothing but love, warmth and like the luckiest girl in the world.

Let's share in the shower experience by seeing the pictures from this very special day...
