27 Weeks

We've offically hit our 3rd Trimester! It's very exciting and throws me into a small panic thinking that Trenton will be here in 3 months! I'm not sure I feel completely ready... we haven't started the nursery, I haven't started nesting yet, I haven't found an assistant for work to take over when I go on maternity leave and we haven't taken our child and labor classes yet!
OMG! i'm getting nervous just writing all this... anyways, what I do know, is that we are completely ready to love him and hug him until he can't stand it anymore.
We have registered for 5 different parenting classes at our hospital, all of which are in November (which is going to be a VERY busy month)... we're taking:
Labor & Delivery
From Child Birth to Colic
Child Care Essentials
Breastfeeding
New Daddy Boot Camp (this one is just for David)

As far as the nursery, we know what we needs to be done, it's just a matter of doing it! Our first step is painting the room, which we are hoping to accomplish by the end of September. After the paint is on the walls than we can bring in the furnature and I can start organizing his drawers, closet and baby essentials.
I'm feeling pretty good, except some strange side effects...
I've had a blood nose 3 times in the past week. At first it scared me, but than a quick call to my on-call maternity mentor Jamee, I was assured that bloody noses are extremely common during pregnancy. It's because with my every expanding belly and hips, the collagen in my body softens and expands, resulting in the very common pregnancy bloody nose.
I've also been experiencing some pretty bad lower back pain, which i'm sure will only be get worse... not to mention I'm having difficulty sleeping at night. Trenton doesn't like it when I lay on my side (I can tell because he'll kick me all night if i'm laying on my side), so i'm being forced to lay on my back all night, which is hard. But, all and all, it's not so bad and I just think about how it's all part of the pregnancy experience and totally worth it.
Our belly pictures this week are in honor of the football season starting! David had me wear his Eagles jersey...
I'm thinking of using this picture for my Eagles cheerleader submission... SEXY!
